The Philadelphia Parks Alliance and Keep Philadelphia Beautiful teamed up with Lowe’s to provide 10 Rec Centers with mini grants totaling $8,000 for tools.

Kingsessing Rec will use their grant for:

Two front gardens planting the flowers

Wood to fix plant boxes so animals don't get to them

Cleaning up all the debris with a couple of rakes for leaves around both gardens with help from neighborhood children

Clean bathroom floors with a real mop and strong bucket
