Wynnefield Cultural Center Advisory Council

Advisory Councils function as a liaison between the facility staff, community, and city agencies to assure community input on a regular basis. The WCCAC works in partnership with the staff of the John C. Anderson Cultural Center to serve as a source of volunteer leadership, evaluate community reaction to programming, introduce new and innovative programming, as well as conduct fundraising activities. 

The WCCAC holds meetings on the 4th Tuesday of every month, excluding July, August, and December. They meet at the John C. Anderson Cultural Center (5301 Overbrook Ave.) at 6 pm. 

Mission Statement

To enhance the overall wellness of the community and its members, through assisting in the coordination of cultural programs and providing for materials, activities or events that support and initiate this effort via the John C. Anderson Cultural Center by the authority granted under Philadelphia Parks and Recreation in the City of Philadelphia.
