Philadelphia Recreation Advisory Council (PRAC)
PRAC is the city-wide umbrella organization that all local Advisory Councils can participate in. There are quarterly meetings where Council members and Parks & Rec staff can hear Parks and Recreation updates, attend training sessions, and discuss issues related to their work. PRAC meetings are a great opportunity to hear what community members are doing at their rec centers--and what the Parks Alliance and PRAC are doing to bolster the system throughout the city! The Parks Alliance works to build this city-wide network into a resource that can benefit everyone in the Parks and Recreation sphere.
PRAC retains a Board of Advisors that assist in identifying priorities of PRAC and organizing the network.
