Apply for a Philadelphia Activities Fund grant

The Parks Alliance's PRAC Support Team is here to help you if you are considering applying for a Philadelphia Activities Fund Grant and need assistance. Many Advisory Councils have applied annually without a problem-- but if you've had issues applying or have never submitted an application, we are here to help!  

The Activities Fund supports Recreation Advisory Councils through projects that promote sportsmanship, the arts, and health.

The Fund awards grant money to projects that:

  • Serve diverse audiences.
  • Provide skills training.
  • Offer learning or motivational experiences.

The average grant award is between $500 – $1,000. That money can be used for things like:

  • Supplies.
  • Materials.
  • Umpiring and referee fees.
  • Postage.
  • Other program costs.

The grant cannot be used for capital costs, like repairing buildings, new construction, or other building fees.
